Full-time Car Wash Assistant Manager Job Summary:

The RipTide Car Wash is seeking an Assistant Manager to help oversee the day-to-day operations of our new Kings Mountain site. We are a rapidly expanding family-owned and operated car wash company with several locations throughout the Southeast, and we are looking for a highly self-motivated and experienced leader to help manage this new location. We are targeting candidates with prior car wash management experience. Furthermore, we have found that candidates who are well-versed in the following areas are typically great fits:

• Working with Unlimited Wash Plan Memberships/Monthly Recurring Plans (i.e., selling these plans to customers, increasing the total number of net unlimited plan customers at one or more washes, troubleshooting issues related to unlimited plans, etc.)
• Familiarity with routine car wash maintenance protocols and troubleshooting issues related to car wash equipment and chemicals
• Hiring and/or training employees, creating weekly schedules, and developing a strong sense of store culture/identity

Car Wash Assistant Manager Job Schedule:

• Our site location is open 8 a.m.
• 8 p.m. from Sunday through Saturday.
• Assistant Managers are expected to work approximately 40 hours per week (with hour-long lunch breaks).

Our assistant managers are eligible for overtime pay.

Car Wash Assistant Manager Job Pay:

• The starting hourly rate is $16
• 20.
• Assistant Managers are eligible for overtime pay.
• Furthermore, our Assistant Managers can receive sales commission for each unlimited wash plan membership they sell.

Sales commission track can result in earnings of thousands of extra dollars per year!

Car Wash Assistant Manager Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintaining daily operational standards.
• Preparing and maintaining quality control procedures.
• Measuring, maintaining, and requesting additional inventory and chemicals (as needed).
• Inspecting and maintaining car wash equipment.
• Training new employees and developing their skillsets.
• Fostering a strong sense of culture within the site based on personal accountability, quality communication, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Resolving all customer-related questions and concerns.
• Analyzing and reconciling store data, including sales/revenue information and labor costs.
• Accurately reporting site sales information to upper management.
• Provide the best possible customer service.
• All other duties as assigned by the Site General Manager.

Car Wash Assistant Manager Job Qualifications:

• At least one year of prior car wash management experience is required.
• Strong customer service skills are essential.
• Must be able to lift/push/carry objects weighing more than 50 pounds.
• A reliable form of transportation is required.
• Must be highly adaptable and be able to think quickly on your feet.
• Mechanical aptitude is strongly preferred.
• Basic computer skills are strongly preferred.
