Job Description

The Professional group is seeking Passenger Service Agent Full Time for our client
LATAM AIRLINES
located in JFK International Airport .
Description:
The main responsibilities of this position are:
  • Check-in passengers.
  • Assist the passengers in Customs,
  • Verify passengers' documentation.
  • Accept check-in and carry-on baggage to ensure compliance with company requirements.
  • Direct passengers to boarding areas.
  • Re-accommodate passengers in case of missed connections/cancellations/delays. When required, escort passengers to the designated hotel, assure that agreed services are provided by the hotel, provide information regarding flight status, and coordinate wake-up and pick-up.
  • Issue accountable documents (MCO, TKTs, etc.).
  • Complete documentation required to clear aircraft upon arrival and/or departure.
  • Gate responsibilities on aircraft's departure and/or arrival, jet bridge manipulator, placing and assembling a lay out, making announcements.
  • Gate responsibilities on aircraft's departure and/or arrival.
  • Other responsibilities of similar nature to be assigned by operational leaders.
Qualifications:
  • High school degree.
  • Strong customer service background.
  • Amadeus (GDS) and Sabre a plus.
  • Fluency in English, Portuguese and Spanish.
Portuguese is a must. Where applicable, must be able to secure appropriate authority required to obtain and maintain United States Customs Clearance and Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) badges

  • Excellent communication skills in multiple languages.
  • Calm while working under pressure.
  • Work closely with company clients while demonstrating proper level of empathy.
  • Understand the clients' expectations, needs and responsibilities.
  • Available and cordial while performing check-in duties.
  • Ability to transmit credibility through his/her transparency and precision while providing service or general information to customers.

Descrição: As responsabilidades desta posição são:
  • Atender aos passageiros no check-in .
  • Assistir passageiro em area de aduana.
  • Verificar a documentação dos passageiros.
  • Receber as bagagens de mão e as que serão registradas, e conferir se atendem aos requisitos da companhia.
  • Direcionar os passageiros ao portão de embarque.
  • Reacomodar os passageiros em casos de conexões perdidas/cancelamentos/atrasos de voos. Quando necessário, acompanhar os passageiros até o hotel designado, verificar se os serviços propostos são oferecidos pelo hotel, providenciar informação sobre o status dos voos e coordenar o despertar e a recolhida dos passageiros.
  • Emitir documentos (MCO, TKT's, etc .).
  • Completar a documentação requerida para liberação da aeronave no pouso e/ou na decolagem.
  • Responsabilidades gerais em porta de embarque e/ou chegadas, manipular o jet bridge, realizar anuncios, armar layout de postas.
  • Outras responsabilidades de natureza semelhante serão atribuídas pelos chefes operacionais. Qualificações:
  • Ensino médio completo.
  • Experiência com atendimento ao cliente ou equivalente.
  • Amadeus (GDS) e Sabre, desejável.
  • Fluência em Inglês, Português e Espanhol.

  • Ter excelentes competências de comunicação em vários idiomas.
  • Manter a calma sob pressão.
  • Trabalhar junto ao cliente da companhia, atuando com empatia.
  • Entender as necessidades, expectativas e responsabilidades do cliente.
  • Ser prestativo e cordial durante processo de check-in .
  • Transmitir credibilidade, transparência e precisão, quando oferecer serviços ou informações gerais aos clientes.
  • Habilidade para o serviço ao cliente. Observações:
