Bus Monitor #HGCY26 Candidate will train on how to provide safe, efficient, and reliable transportation service by operating various school buses in transporting he Monitor Bus Special Education will provide safe, efficient, and reliable transportation service by riding various school buses and ensuring a comfortable ride for students being transported to and from school as well as related activities while maintaining a harmonious relation with transportation staff, district administrators, teachers, coaches and community members.
Qualification Requirements:
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Ability to operate safety equipment. Ability to manage student behavior. Effective interpersonal and communication skills, both orally and in writing. Ability to read a map and use maps is preferred. Experience working with special education students preferred. Some knowledge of the policies, procedures, methods, techniques, equipment, precautions and safety measures involved in transporting and caring for special education students preferred. Minimum age is 18 due to insurance. Insurance. Opportunity to work on additional routes, trips, etc.
Background requirements:
Candidates must pass a drug screen and a background check. Convictions will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis; however, they will not necessarily bar a candidate's employment. After an offer or conditional offer of employment is made, the employer will require the prospective employee to take a physical examination.
