Job Description

Activities Assistant Park Manor Health & Rehabilitation Do you have a positive attitude, a creative spirit, and a passion for making someone's day a little brighter? Park Manor Health & Rehabilitation is looking for an energetic Activities Assistant to help create meaningful experiences for our residents through games, crafts, music, celebrations, outings, and other engaging activities.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday with some weekends required.
Responsibilities:
Assist the Activities Director in planning and leading daily activities Encourage resident participation and provide one-on-one activities for room-bound residents Transport residents to and from activities Document resident participation and responses Help decorate for holidays and special events Assist with activity calendars, bulletin boards, and special programs Promote a fun, engaging, and welcoming environment for residents and their families Work closely with other departments to provide exceptional resident care
Qualifications:
Experience working with the elderly or disabled is preferred Creative, energetic, and compassionate personality Ability to work independently and as part of a team Basic computer skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Must be at least 18 years of age Must be able to read, write, and speak
