Job Description

Activity Assistant We are seeking a friendly and energetic Activity Assistant to join our team and help create engaging and meaningful experiences for our residents or clients. This role offers an excellent opportunity to make a positive impact by fostering social interaction, mental stimulation, and overall well-being through a variety of activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, organize, and facilitate a diverse range of recreational and social activities tailored to the interests and abilities of participants Assist in the development of activity schedules and programs that promote engagement and enjoyment Provide support and encouragement to participants during activities, ensuring a safe and inclusive environment Collaborate with team members and family members to assess individual needs and preferences Maintain activity supplies and equipment, ensuring they are clean and in good condition Document participation and feedback to evaluate the effectiveness of activities and improve future programs
Skills and Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in recreational therapy or activity coordination is a plus Previous experience working with seniors, children, or individuals with special needs is preferred Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Creativity and enthusiasm for planning engaging activities Ability to work independently and as part of a team Patience, compassion, and a positive attitude Ability to lift and move activity supplies and assist participants as needed Join our organization and be part of a supportive, growth-oriented environment dedicated to enriching lives through meaningful activities.
