Job Description

WE ARE IN SEARCH OF TEAM MEMBERS TO JOIN OUR CAMP FAMILY!
There are multiple positions available - part time to full time, as well as leadership opportunities! These positions must be filled by individuals who will be here past the "summer months" A Camp Counselor assists with animal care, heavy cleaning and play yard monitoring. Primary Responsibilities Have a supervisor role within Camp. Leadership skills and customer service are a must. Monitor dogs in play yard. Maintaining a clean environment. Feeding, cleaning cabins, lifting heavy items. Constantly walking and interacting with dogs and team members.
MAINTAINING A SAFE ENVIRONMENT!
Provide excellent customer service. Managing schedules and appointments. Checking in and out dogs. Be active and attentive to dogs and pet parents at all times. Essential Skills Prior experience as a supervisor, manager, or lead role. Extremely energetic, outgoing, upbeat with a positive personality. Must be able to work at a fast pace, in a team environment, and have exceptional customer service skills!
MUST LOVE DOGS
- the noise, the hair, the messes the love, and the smiles!!!!!!!! Requirements At least 18 years or older. Be able to lift dog food and supplies. Constantly walk and/or stand entire shift Submit to a background check and drug test Reporting Camp Manager Availability Hourly position. We have various shifts so schedule varies but with notice. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors while engaging in meaningful pet care activities. Responsibilities Supervise and interact with dogs during outdoor activities, playtime, and rest periods to promote healthy socialization and exercise Assist with dog handling, animal restraint, and animal care procedures to ensure safety for both pets and staff Maintain cleanliness of kennels, play areas, and grooming stations through regular cleaning and sanitation practices Support pet grooming tasks such as brushing, bathing, and basic trimming to keep dogs comfortable and looking their best Monitor dog behavior closely to identify signs of stress or illness; communicate concerns promptly to veterinary or supervisory staff Assist with pet sitting duties by feeding, watering, and providing companionship to dogs in our care Engage in team lifting and outdoor work activities to transport supplies or assist with larger animals safely Qualifications Previous veterinary technician experience or veterinary assistant background is highly desirable Experience with pet grooming, dog training, or kennel management is a strong plus Demonstrated animal handling skills with dogs of various sizes and temperaments Knowledge of pet sitting routines and animal restraint techniques Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when needed for supplies or equipment Strong customer service skills to communicate effectively with pet owners and team members Outdoor work experience that demonstrates comfort working in various weather conditions A genuine passion for animals combined with a positive, energetic attitude Join us in making a difference in the lives of dogs by providing exceptional care in a lively outdoor setting.
