Job Description

Job Summary:
Are you someone who loves working with children, enjoys solving problems, and wants to help build something meaningful? Soccer Shots Northwest Arkansas is seeking a full-time Program Coordinator to help lead the day-to-day execution of our youth soccer programs. This is a unique opportunity to spend part of your week coaching children on the field while also taking ownership of the operational details that create an exceptional experience for families, coaches, and school partners. Working alongside our Program Director, you'll play an integral role in delivering outstanding programs, supporting our coaching team, strengthening relationships with partner locations, and helping grow our impact across Northwest Arkansas. This position is ideal for someone looking to build leadership experience within a growing organization while making a positive difference in children's lives every day.
Responsibilities:
On-Field Leadership (approximately 50%) Coach 15-20 engaging Soccer Shots sessions each week for children ages 2-8 Deliver exceptional customer experiences for families and school partners Model coaching excellence and serve as a mentor for newer coaches Assist with Free Fun Days, community events, and seasonal programming Program Operations Coordinate class schedules, coach assignments, rosters, attendance, and program logistics Manage waitlists, transfers, make-up classes, and class setup Help ensure coaches have the information, equipment, and resources needed each week Monitor program quality and identify opportunities for improvement Partner & Family Experience Communicate with families and school partners in a timely, professional manner Support account management by maintaining strong relationships with partner locations Help resolve questions and proactively ensure a positive customer experience Marketing & Growth Assist with seasonal marketing campaigns through email, text messaging, and social media Collect photos and videos from programs Support enrollment initiatives and promotional events Help identify opportunities to grow existing programs Prior experience in lifeguard duties or aquatic supervision is preferred but not required; relevant certifications such as lifeguard training are advantageous. Demonstrated background in sports coaching or physical education teaching across multiple disciplines like basketball, cheerleading, climbing, martial arts (karate or judo), swimming or gymnastics. Proven ability to work with children or students in educational or recreational settings with strong behavior management skills. Experience in health club or gym environments that involve fitness instruction or personal training is a plus. Strong communication skills with the ability to motivate young athletes while maintaining clear safety guidelines. Certification in AED operation or willingness to obtain certification upon hire is required for safety compliance. Knowledge of working with diverse youth populations including those with special needs is highly desirable.
