CTE COORDINATOR OF EMERGING TECHNOLOGIES SALARY
HOURLY $17.15
Job Goal :
This position is responsible for supervising students during daily field trips to local technology-focused companies and facilitating a safe, engaging, and professional learning environment. One day of the camp will be held on-site (Hamilton High School) and include structured activities and presentations by participating companies.
Minimum Qualifications:
Experience working with high school-aged students (education, coaching, youth programs, etc.) preferred Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills Ability to manage groups in dynamic, off-campus environments Professional demeanor when interacting with industry partners No prior subject area knowledge necessary Possession of a valid IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card Reliable transportation to and from the central camp location Willingness to travel daily to various company sites (transportation provided during camp hours) Must be available 8:30

F Core Job Functions:
Student Supervision & Safety Supervise and monitor a group of high school students (ages 14-18) throughout daily activities, including transportation, site visits, and on-campus sessions Ensure student adherence to all safety protocols, behavioral expectations, and district policies Conduct headcounts and maintain awareness of student whereabouts at all times Field Trip Support Assist with coordination and logistics during visits to industry partner sites Support transitions between locations, including bus loading/unloading and timely movement between activities Serve as a liaison between students and site hosts to maintain professionalism and engagement Student Engagement Encourage participation, curiosity, and respectful interaction with industry professionals Help facilitate discussions, reflections, or informal debriefs following site visits Support students in making connections between camp experiences and potential career pathways On-Site Day Facilitation Assist companies with in-house camp day activities, including guest speakers Help manage materials, transitions, and student collaboration Communication & Support Communicate effectively with camp coordinators regarding any concerns, incidents, or student needs Provide basic first-response support for minor issues and escalate concerns as needed Model professionalism, punctuality, and positive interactions at all times

The job involves finger or manual dexterity, repetitive finger motion, speaking, hearing, seeing (with correction), and focusing ability. Employees may be exposed to travel, odors, dust, poor ventilation, workspace restrictions, and loud noises. The work may require lifting or exerting up to 40 pounds of force occasionally and up to 10 pounds of force frequently.
