Lexington Learning Center provides adult day program services for at-risk adults with developmental disabilities. Quality providers help identify member strengths and needs and foster life skills in real-time helping members learn to thrive in a social environment. We work with families and adults in our day program, teaching a variety of skills ranging from skills for daily living to social and emotional self-regulation.Job Description:
Lexington Learning Center Day Programs provides an array of activities for its members. These activities include, but are not limited to: Arts & Crafts, Nature Walks, Cooking & Nutrition, Money Skills & Goals, Field Trips, Exercise, Personal Hygiene, Life Skills and Social Skills. As an In-Center Provider, you have the opportunity to help shape and mold the members to be the best version of themselves and help them become more independent individuals. Lexington Learning Center provides on site training for all levels to their Providers to ensure our employees are well equipped to care for our members. During your first week at Lexington Learning Center, you will learn about all of our members as well as shadowing current providers to get hands-on experience.Job Responsibilities:
Provides transportation to and from activities Assists in the implementation of individual plans for individuals and behavioral plan goals Assists individuals in the pursuit of recreational, social and community activities based on their preferences and individual plans Assists and encourages individuals in the establishment of social networks; Promotes participation and involvement in community outings Follows safety protocols to foster a safe working environmentJob Requirements:
Must be 18 years of age Must be an AZ resident Experience and ability to work with challenging behaviors is preferred Class one Fingerprint Clearance Card or the ability to obtain one is required. Pre-employment background check for all employees is requiredJob Type:
