This is a customer-facing sales support role. The right person will help customers who visit the showroom, support sales-focused FaceTime/video calls, and help our remote and internal sales team with product knowledge, equipment demonstrations, specs, comparisons, and customer questions. This is not a traditional warehouse labor role and not a quality-control documentation role. You should be comfortable working in a warehouse/showroom setting around large fitness equipment, but the main value of this role is sales guidance, customer communication, and product understanding. What You Will Work On Greet and assist on-site showroom customers. Ask customers what they are trying to buy, what space they are building out, what their budget is, and what equipment they are comparing. Help customers understand fitness equipment options, including strength machines, racks, functional trainers, cardio equipment, benches, free weights, accessories, and commercial vs. home-use needs. Coordinate with the sales team when a customer needs pricing, product recommendations, package guidance, availability, or final sales direction. Run sales-focused FaceTime/video walkthroughs with customers who want to see equipment live before buying. Show customers equipment details on video, including machine condition, size, key features, console/features where relevant, and how the machine is used. Support the sales team with product knowledge questions, equipment demonstrations, and quick videos/photos when needed for sales—not warehouse QC. Help explain differences between new equipment, remanufactured commercial equipment, and value options. Learn our core product lines and be able to speak practically about specs, dimensions, use cases, and customer fit. Help keep the showroom/customer-facing equipment area presentable and easy to walk through. Use internal tools such as Gmail, Google Drive, Monday.com or similar task systems, video calls, and ecommerce/order/product lookup tools. Required Experience Strong customer-facing communication skills. Sales, retail, showroom, fitness, equipment, automotive, furniture, appliance, building supply, or other consultative sales experience. Comfort speaking with customers in person, by phone, and on video. Ability to explain products clearly without overpromising. Comfort working independently in a warehouse/showroom office environment. Strong attention to detail when relaying product specs, customer needs, and follow-up items to the sales team. Comfort using Gmail, Google Drive, basic spreadsheets/docs, video calls, and task systems. Interest in fitness equipment, gyms, strength training, commercial fitness, or mechanical products. Strong Bonus Experience Fitness equipment sales or gym equipment knowledge. Experience with commercial gym owners, personal trainers, physical therapy clinics, schools, hotels, apartment gyms, or serious home gym buyers. Experience selling higher-ticket products where customers need advice before purchasing. Experience doing live video demos, virtual showroom walkthroughs, or FaceTime sales. Knowledge of strength equipment, cable machines, Smith machines, racks, treadmills, ellipticals, stairmills, benches, dumbbells, or cardio consoles. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus, but not required. What This Role Is Not This is not a general warehouse labor position. This is not a shipping, loading, strapping, or freight-prevention role. This is not a role responsible for documenting inbound truckload damage, missing freight, packaging issues, or receiving discrepancies. This is not a QC photo/video documentation role for warehouse staff. This is not a role responsible for final equipment quality-control signoff. This is not a remote-only sales job. The person must be on-site in Benicia. Work Environment This role is based on-site in a fitness equipment warehouse/showroom environment. You will be around large commercial fitness equipment, showroom machines, warehouse staff, and customers visiting in person. You should be comfortable walking the showroom/warehouse area, standing during customer walkthroughs, and demonstrating or pointing out machine features. Compensation $25
  • 40 per hour, depending on experience.
Higher end of the range is for candidates who bring strong sales ability, clear communication, fitness equipment knowledge, video/demo confidence, and the ability to help customers make buying decisions with minimal hand-holding. Benefits Benefits are subject to eligibility and plan terms. Full-time eligible employees may receive benefits such as medical plan participation after the applicable waiting period, paid sick leave in accordance with California law, certain paid holidays, and retirement plan eligibility after the applicable service period. Schedule Full-time, on-site in Benicia, CA. Daytime business hours. Exact schedule will be discussed during the interview process. How To Apply Please apply with a resume and a short note answering the following: What type of sales or customer-facing experience do you have? Have you sold or demonstrated fitness equipment, sporting goods, vehicles, appliances, furniture, tools, or other higher-ticket products? Are you comfortable doing live FaceTime/video walkthroughs with customers? What fitness equipment categories are you already familiar with?
