The Preserve's 20,000 acres are home to a lively community of just under 300 families and a team of talented staff. Our Gatehouse at 1 Rancho San Carlos Road is just a few minutes from Highway 1 in Carmel. A scenic, winding road takes you into the heart of the Preserve in just 20 minutes. We are currently accepting applications for Recreation Manager for our expansive recreation facilities. The primary responsibility is to assist with administrative duties and provide supervision and guidance in all areas of the Recreation department operation.

Other duties include:

Planning, supervision and execution of Children's Summer Camps Interacting daily with members and guests Creating special events Helping promote the Recreation department Ensure safety of members and guests Assist in maintaining facilities Maintain activities including fishing, cycling, lawn games, tennis , pickleball, private recreational events and organized sports Assist in training and supervision of staff Daily rounds of equipment maintenance at Moore's Lake to include boats, life jackets, paddles, bathrooms, towels, drink station and beachfront Qualifications include: Bachelor's degree or at least 3 years of relevant experience in recreation, hospitality and/or program development. CPR and First Aid required Excellent written and oral communication skills Proficient in budgeting Computer skills Good reasoning, problem solving, public relations and employee relations The Preserve's vision would not be possible without a dedicated team of service-oriented people.
