Childrens Sports Teacher (Ages 2 - 5)

Overview We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Sports Instructor for children 2 - 5 years of age. This role involves mentoring children in various physical activities, fostering a love for sports, and promoting healthy lifestyles. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching children, patience, punctuality, experience in sports, and working with kids in educational or recreational settings. This position offers an exciting opportunity to inspire young athletes while developing their physical and social skills in a supportive environment. Responsibilities Lead and instruct children in a variety of sports and physical activities such as basketball, soccer, tennis, golf, baseball, volleyball, and other fitness-based programs. Develop age-appropriate lesson plans that promote skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Ensure the safety of all participants by enforcing rules and maintaining a safe environment during activities. Manage behavior effectively to foster positive participation and respect among children. Demonstrate proper techniques for sports, including teaching physical education fundamentals. Collaborate with parents and guardians to communicate progress and address any concerns related to their child's participation. Maintain equipment, ensure cleanliness of activity areas, and prepare necessary materials for class sessions. Requirements Prior experience in sports coaching, teaching physical education, or working with children in childcare or educational settings. Knowledge of various sports such as basketball, tennis, soccer, hockey, golf and other sports. Strong skills in behavior management to foster a positive learning environment. Ability to demonstrate sports techniques effectively while ensuring safety standards are met. Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and engage young children. Passion for promoting health, fitness, teamwork, and personal development among youth.
