Want a job that makes a difference in the lives of our elderly community? a fun and rewarding job that helps foster a positive atmosphere through leisure activities? Come help the Activities Director meet the spiritual, cultural, physical, intellectual, and social needs of our residents both inside and outside the community.

Essential Functions:

Support the mission, vision, and culture of the organization. Perform activities on schedule while maintaining regular attendance and punctuality. Promote resident's attendance at events and activities Assist with planning and implementing events and activities. Assist with group activities, sing-a-longs, and exercise classes Conduct activity programs as assigned. Assist residents with gardening projects. Assist with decorations for holidays and special occasions.

Requirements:

Previous experience in a similar role Dress professionally Be outgoing and have a positive attitude Have an open availability Able to work with minimal supervision Open line of communication Able to stand for 4+ hours Experience in activities with seniors who have dementia or in a senior retirement community Great organization, planning, and engaging/re-directing seniors Great energy and kindness

Work Schedule:

Friday- Monday 11:30 am- 3:30 pm
