We currently have active field days, birthday parties, early childhood camps, and more enrichment based "rhythm and creations camp" (will need experience with art, music, dance, or music production for this camp. those with creative minds welcome for this! Rythym and creations camp will pay 30/hour for 15 hour camp week, while other classes and events will pay between 25-40/hour depending on role type). This job is ideal for those looking for extra hours and pay over the summer, possibly leading to an expanded role in the fall. Fit First is a youth fitness company, that focuses on helping children develop healthy active lifestyles. We run a number of classes including junior fitness, advanced training, teenage weight-lifting, sports conditioning, toddler movement classes, sports specific training, and many more! We teach a variety of different sports classes with partners all across Orange County ranging fro sports fundamentals to advanced sports training, from toddlers to high schoolers. Our mission is to foster a positive connection with fitness and exercise, while helping students develop self confidence. We strongly oppose the "go play" method of instruction, instead focusing on quantifiable objectives and goals. Each class, each partner, each community, and each student requires unique instruction, largely meaning each coach needs to be skilled in differentiating education for each class they teach, so as to both challenge and engage each group of students they work with. In addition to our general education sports classes, we offer special needs PE classes, toddler movement classes, and special events (birthdays, tournaments, clinics, field days, etc.). While each coach in our organization has a base speciality, we are looking for those who can teach a variety of different classes. The main attributes we are looking for are dependable, engaging, and fun, so as to properly mentor students and help all students reach their fullest potential. We are looking for summer camp counselors with experience in enrichment and performing arts as well as coaches with experience with early childhood, group classes (academics and active to run our pre-designed classes or their own class created content); in addition to working expansion event booths, birthday parties, field days, and private 1:1 training! We offer a wealth of programs and private trainings over the summer and throughout the year and have a wide variety of roles available. Having said that, we will first and foremost be looking to add those who would feel comfortable working
- Rhythm and creations camp (7/13-7/17 9am-12pm as a junior counselor or assistant counselor paying $450 and $375 respectively for whichever role candidate is qualified for)
- Random available camp weeks as junior or assistant counselors (paying $450 and $375 for each role depending on which role is still needed)
- Field day and event juniors and assistants (paying $35 and $25 per hour respectively depending on which role candidate is qualified for) And finally:
- group classes (of company pre-designed classes or self designed classes paying $40 and $45 / hour respectively depending on class type).
keep in mind, those who would like to run self designed classes must be Able to come up with at least 5-6 weeks worth of class lesson plans (assuming each class will meet 1x or 2x per week for 1 hour each class, meaning between 10-12 classes), focussing on one centralized theme per class with an overall centralized class education goal, and ideally secondary social-emotional learning goal.
For example:
Class
- k-pop dance: age range 8-11.
class core standard:
students will learn at least 3 fully choreographed songs by end of 6 week coarse.
Secondary social-emotional goal:
students will develop self confidence and communication skills as well as understanding of Korean culture and dance as it relates to Korean culture, while developing skills in team work and time management as they design their own choreography for self made or popular k-pop songs Class structure: Each class will include
- 1. Circle session warm up and Korean culture education 2. Floor movements relevant to Korean dance 3. Choreography for k-pop dance song 1 and beginning development understanding of k-pop song components as related to other music and dance styles 4. Fun dance, korean culture education, or K-pop music creation activity to relate back to class theme Class 1: Theme
- history of Korean culture and dance class goal: have students develop beginning understanding of k-pop music and its history as well as first steps in k-pop dance Secondary Social emotional learning goal: ensure students develop understanding of the meaning and cultural relevance of k-pop Circle group intro

This level of planning will be expected for each class so that instructors can offer a comprehensive class ensuring students emerge having developed qualified skills which they can articulate for each class. Those who feel comfortable developing this level of class structure will also have the opportunity to sell class content packages for self-learning on company website marketplace, to be able to earn money passively each time someone purchases their package. While we love to bring new talented instructors on year-round, and have expanded roles in marketplace content creation for sale, advertising and sales, and executive assistant roles, we are first and foremost looking to bring on those who will be available for summer work.

- Be punctual and professional
