40 hours per week, days of the week may vary (see schedule)

Lunch:

to be taken before the end of the 4 th hour of work.

Duties:

Assist Director with monthly calendar and newsletters. Attend regular Activity Department Meetings Maintain records of activities under the supervision of Activity Director Coordinate with AD in planning and participating in arts, crafts, games, and other activities. Develop and maintain a list of community resources with the direction of AD. Plan and organize a variety of social, recreational, religious, and educational activities for residents with the direction of AD. Assist in dining room at breakfast and lunch & serve snacks and water pass

Line of Authority:

Activity Director Executive Director 1. Shall be at least 18 years of age Shall have criminal record clearance prior to presence in the facility Shall have a health screening and TB test, performed by a physician not more than six (6) months prior to employment. The TB test results will be received within seven (7) days of employment; the health screening report will be received within thirty (30) days of employment. Shall pass pre-employment drug screening. Shall have appropriate training in first aid from persons qualified by such agencies as the American Red Cross. Shall possess the ability to read, write and speak English
