Life Skills and Activities Coordinator

Job Summary The Life Skills and Activities Coordinator is responsible for leading meaningful programs and activities that support the emotional wellness, personal growth, life skills, and community engagement of residents in temporary housing and shelter settings. You will work on site. This role requires a compassionate, energetic, and creative individual who can teach, lead, motivate, and inspire people from diverse backgrounds while helping create a supportive, and positive environment. Lead daily and weekly group activities and workshops Teach life skills, wellness, communication, and social skills Encourage resident participation and positive engagement Coordinate recreational activities, crafts, and special events Maintain activity schedules and organize supplies Work collaboratively with staff and residents

Monitor Participation Qualificaitons:

Lead engaging Activities Strong communication and leadership skills Experience working with diverse populations preferred Working with individuals experiencing homelessness Compassionate, patient, organized, and dependable Ability to inspire and motivate others Experience in shelters, social services, recreation, or related fields preferred

Driver License Pay:

$25.00 - $30.00 per hour
