Tennis Camp Counselor

Marin Country Club, located in Novato CA, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a Tennis Camp Counselor! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you'll contribute to a global leader in golf and community management The Tennis Camp Counselor will work closely with the Director of Tennis to provide a safe learning environment that fosters fun, exciting experiences and memories to share for a lifetime! $25 per hour

Position Summary:

Responsible for supervising campers and assisting in recreational activities.

Essential Duties:

Assisting recreational activities for children Lead small or large groups on crafts, games and various other camp exercises Monitor campers to identify and respond to unruly behavior or deviations from camp guidelines Follow policies for the safety of campers, equipment, and personal property Act as a role model for campers in activities which require cleanliness, punctuality, and sportsmanship Mediate disputes or conflicts between campers to ensure a peaceful environment Participate in singing, storytelling, and sporting activities

Requirements:

Education and Training:

previous experience working with children preferred Knowledge of sports, arts, or crafts is also necessary for the position

Leadership Skill:

Camp counselors are able to direct and coordinate children during summer camp trip This job posting is intended for a seasonal, part-time tennis professional.

Physical Demands:

Frequently stands and uses hands; reaches with hands and arms, talks or hears Regularly walks, sits, climbs, balances, stoops, kneels, crawls or crouches Regularly lifts up to 10 pounds and occasionally lifts up to 50 pounds

Environment/Noise:

Occasionally works in outdoor weather conditions. Noise level is moderate.
