Job Description

Activities Assistant (Part-Time) Job Overview Sunnyvale Post Acute is seeking an energetic Activities Assistant. You will bring joy to our residents daily. This part-time role offers flexible weekly hours.
Pay:
$19.50-21.50
Job Type:
Part-time Location:
Sunnyvale, CA Schedule:
Various hours across the week (includes some weekends/holidays) Key Responsibilities Lead activities: Run group games, crafts, and musical events. Provide 1-on-1 visits: Spend quality time with room-bound residents.
Transport residents:
Help residents get to and from activity rooms.
Set up events:
Arrange chairs, tables, and decorations for parties.
Document participation:
Log resident attendance in daily charts.
Qualifications Experience:
Prior experience in senior living preferred but not required.
Skills:
Strong communication, patience, and a positive attitude.
Traits:
Enthusiastic, reliable, and passionate about helping older adults.
