The Life Enrichment Leader is a crucial part of the Memory Care team and plays an important role in creating a positive, engaging, and supportive environment for our residents. The primary focus of the position is to stimulate residents with therapeutic activities and exercises that meet their social, physical, and cognitive needs. This position will help plan, lead, and support robust cognitive, social, and physical activities for residents in our Memory Care neighborhood. Expectations of the job include assisting with daily activities in the areas of: Socialization , achieved through activities such as group discussion and conversation, recreation, arts, crafts, music, sing-alongs, and other engaging programs Daily living skills and activities that help foster and maintain independent functioning Leisure time activities that cultivate personal interests, encourage participation, and promote engagement with other residents Physical activities such as games, sports, and exercise designed to develop and maintain strength, coordination, and range of motion Educational activities such as current events and other discussion-based programs We are looking for a dependable, energetic, and creative team player who can assist seniors with comfort, care, and compassion while displaying professionalism, patience, and respect at all times. Prior experience working with Alzheimer's/Dementia residents is highly recommended.

Requirements:

Must be able to pass a background check TB test/health screening required High school diploma or GED required Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing Must be legally authorized to work in the United States Must be available to work weekends and holidays as needed
