Job Description
A Day Place is an adult day care serving adults that require oversight or supervision for day to day activities. We specialize in working with people with memory challenges. Our day's activities include card games, trivia, active games, and musical and storytelling entertainment groups. Get paid to play! The activity assistant would be responsible for facilitating planned activities, setting up for meals, providing one on one companionship as needed, and readying the room for each day. Hours are 9:00-3:30 M-F. Looking for someone to work 2 days a week which is considered part time with a chance for more days as program grows. The right candidate must be patient and personable with the aging population. Must be able to pass background and adult protective services check. The position requires experience and the ability to remain active and alert at all times to keep our members safe.
