Part-time Overview:

We are seeking an energetic, organized, and enthusiastic Part-Time Summer Sports Camp Coordinator to lead and manage our youth summer sports program at the Tri-Lakes YMCA. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children, has a passion for sports, and can create a fun, safe, and engaging environment for campers ages 5-14 while also supporting and directing camp staff.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and organize weekly camp schedules featuring a variety of sports and activities Coach and lead participants in multiple sports (e.g., basketball, soccer, flag football, etc.) Supervise and engage children ages 5-14 in a positive and inclusive manner Direct and support camp staff, providing guidance and ensuring smooth daily operations Communicate effectively with parents regarding camper progress, schedules, and any concerns Ensure a safe environment by following all safety protocols and procedures Set up and break down equipment daily Foster teamwork, sportsmanship, and skill development among campers

Preferred Skills:

Previous camp coordination or leadership experience Background in physical education, recreation, or related field
