RECREATION ASSISTANT - FULL TIME

Avon Health Center, family owned since 1974, provides a range of services, including skilled nursing care, post-acute medical and rehabilitation care, hospice and respite care. We are a 120 bed facility with a 30 bed post-acute/rehab unit. Our Facility has an excellent reputation in the community and we are looking for caring persons to provide leadership and drive the quality care we are known for to our residents.: We are looking for a full time Recreation Assistant who is dynamic, energetic, outgoing, friendly, enthusiastic, professional and courteous. Must enjoy working with people, especially elderly. The Recreation Assistant is responsible for planning, organizing and implementing activity groups and individual programming for residents of all functioning levels. Additional responsibilities include transportation of residents to activities within the facility/on facility grounds and facilitating visits (indoor, outdoor, virtual, phone calls) between residents and their family and friends. $18.00 per hour plus $.75 weekend differential. 32-40 hours per week (Tuesday - Saturday) Ability to work independently or as part of a team Compassion and desire to work with the elderly Good organizational skills Energetic and creative personality!
