Lantern Hill by Erickson Senior Living Join our team as an Activities Associate (Intermissions Associate). In this role, you can bring their gift of compassion to our residents and family members in our intermissions program, who deal with the challenges of dementia. between $16.30•$19.00 per hour. Commensurate with experience.Schedule:
Per Diem (Monday•Friday 9:30AM•3:30PM) How you will make an impact Co-lead social activity-based programming for Intermission participants. Adopt a person-centered approach and an environment that supports the needs of each individual resident. Design and implement creative programming. Assist in program operation by leading activities and transport residents to and from programs. Engage in mealtime preparations. Complete daily attendance records. Attend in-services and other training to increase job knowledge and skills in working with participants. What you will need Patience, flexibility, and the sincere interest and desire to work with residents affected by dementia. Programming/activity experience is preferred. Customer service experience is required. Organizational skills are required. Basic computer experience is required. Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written instructions in English is required. Must be at least 18 years old. Please note that specific state regulations and requirements may be applicable.
