Summer Camp Assistant Counselor

Overview:

We are seeking enthusiastic Camp Counselor Assistants to join our team and create memorable experiences for campers. If you have a passion for working with children and enjoy outdoor activities, this is the perfect opportunity for you. Position requires travelling to different locations throughout Fairfield & New Haven counties. It is the ideal job for returning college students.

Responsibilities:

• Assist to supervise and engage campers in various activities and games
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all campers at all times
• Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to campers
• Assist in organizing and setting up camp events and outings
• Collaborate with fellow counselors to create a positive and inclusive camp environment

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in childhood development, tutoring, childcare, babysitting, or related fields
• Experience working with children or students in any capacity
• Knowledge of sports coaching or willingness to learn
• Ability to educate and inspire young minds
