Camp Counselor & Fishing Instructor - relocate to Maine for the summer! Being a staff member at Laurel South is far more than a summer job. Camp Laurel South is seeking enthusiastic, responsible, and energetic Fishing Counselors/Instructors to join our summer team in Maine. Staff in this role teach and supervise campers during fishing activities while helping create a fun, safe, and supportive camp environment.
Responsibilities include:
Teaching basic to advanced fishing skills and techniques Supervising campers on the waterfront and during fishing trips Assisting with equipment setup, maintenance, and organization Encouraging sportsmanship, confidence, and participation Living in a cabin and serving as a positive role model for campers Ideal candidates are: Experienced in freshwater fishing Comfortable working with children and teens Team-oriented, adaptable, and enthusiastic This is a residential summer position that includes housing, meals, laundry, and a competitive salary. A great opportunity for educators, college students, coaches, outdoor enthusiasts, or anyone passionate about working with kids in an outdoor setting. This is a two month commitment June 16th - August 17th.
