This dynamic leader will design and oversee engaging programs that nurture physical health, emotional well-being, and social connection. From energizing fitness classes to cultural outings, themed events, and creative workshops, you'll help residents live their best, most fulfilling lives. Key Responsibilities Develop and manage a vibrant monthly calendar of wellness, recreational, and social programs tailored to residents' interests and abilities. Foster a welcoming and inclusive environment that encourages participation and builds community connections. Plan and host special events, holiday celebrations, and local excursions that make life exciting and meaningful. Partner with dining, operations, and management teams to ensure a holistic approach to resident wellness. Lead group activities such as exercise sessions, wellness workshops, games, and creative arts. Recruit, train, and inspire a team of activity assistants and volunteers. Maintain accurate participation records and continuously evaluate program effectiveness. Ensure all programs comply with community policies and standards. Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Recreation, Wellness, Health Sciences, or a related field preferred. Minimum 2 years of experience in wellness or recreational programming, ideally within a senior living or hospitality setting. Energetic personality with strong communication and leadership skills. Passion for promoting an active, engaged, and joyful lifestyle for older adults. Creative thinker with excellent organizational and event-planning abilities.
