We are seeking a motivated individual who is interested in contributing to a positive experience for our members and guests while continuing to grow their knowledge of racquet sports club operations. As an associate of Troon , you will contribute to a global leader in racquet sports and community management.
Position Summary:
Provide the ultimate racquet sports experience by providing the highest quality instruction and customer service. Teaches various racquet sports programs, including junior programs, lessons, special events, and clinics. Full-time.
Essential Duties:
Provides beginning through advanced instruction (private and group) for all levels of players. Assists in the promotion of and conducting racquet sports clinics, private lessons, special events, and programs to attract and maintain members'/guests' racquet sports interests. Ensure students understand various racquet sports rules, scoring procedures, safety rules, and tennis etiquette. Enforces all club rules and regulations governing the use of the club/facility, its equipment, and other property. Performs racquet stringing. Performs court maintenance. Quickly and efficiently responds to member/guest questions, comments, and concerns. Incorporates safe work practices in job performance. Demonstrate positive attitude and actions through a display of courtesy, service, cooperation, hospitality, sensitivity, and professionalism. Performs other duties as required.
Education/Experience:
Minimum 1-year experience required.
Physical Demands:
Frequently stands, walks, uses hands, talks, hears, reaches with hands and arms, climbs, balances, stoops, kneels, crouches, or crawls. Occasionally sits. Regularly lifts up to 10 pounds and occasionally lifts up to 50 pounds.
Environment/Noise:
Frequently works in outdoor weather conditions. Noise level is moderate.

Ability to read and speak English may be required to perform the duties of the job (e.g., staff may be required to communicate with English-speaking customers or co-workers, and the manuals for the equipment used are in English).
