We are seeking a motivated individual who is interested in contributing to a positive experience for our members and guests while continuing to grow their knowledge of golf club operations. As an associate of Troon/Cliff Drysdale & PBI Tennis , you will contribute to a global leader in racquet sports, golf and community management.
Position Summary:
The ideal candidate will deliver an exceptional padel experience to members and guests through top-tier instruction, engaging events, and outstanding customer service in a luxury hospitality setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide high-level padel instruction (private and group) to players of all ages and skill levels. Develop and lead comprehensive padel programs including group clinics, private lessons, junior development, and adult programming. Organize and manage padel events such as tournaments, mixers, Americanos, and social play formats to foster community, competition, and engagement. Design creative, inclusive, and level-appropriate formats for both competitive and recreational events. Ensure players understand rules, scoring systems, tactics, safety practices, and padel etiquette. Promote a fun and welcoming environment that encourages repeat participation and long-term player development. Enforce club policies and maintain a safe, respectful, and professional atmosphere. Respond to member and guest inquiries with courtesy, professionalism, and efficiency. Ensure padel courts and equipment are maintained in excellent condition. Support other duties within the department as needed.
Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED required. Padel certification required Minimum of 2 years' experience coaching padel to juniors and adults at varying levels. Proven ability to plan and execute successful padel events, such as mixers and round-robin tournaments (Americanos). Organizational and event management skills is a plus. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. High energy, positive attitude, and a commitment to five-star service standards.
Physical Requirements:
Able to stand, run, and demonstrate techniques for extended periods. Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions. Able to lift and move equipment as necessary.
