Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Activities Assistant to lead and encourage our residents to participate in meaningful activities, while maintaining their independence and dignity. As a key member of our care team, you will be responsible for creating and managing daily events, interacting with residents, and overseeing employees and volunteers.

Responsibilities:

Create and manage daily events and activities for residents Engage with residents and encourage participation in programs and events Manage employees and volunteers to ensure smooth event execution Collaborate with care team to develop personalized activity plans for residents Maintain accurate records and reports of resident participation and activity data

Requirements:

High school diploma required; certain certifications may be preferred Experience in nursing, recreational activities, event planning, or related field preferred Job training and first aid/CPR training required Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
