Counselor - Summer camp

Responsibilities Supervise and engage children in a variety of camp activities, including sports, arts and crafts, and outdoor adventures Ensure the safety and well-being of all campers by adhering to safety protocols and providing first aid when necessary Manage classroom or activity spaces with effective behavior management strategies to promote respectful and inclusive interactions Foster a positive environment rooted in respect, kindness, and encouragement that promotes childhood development and social skills Skills Strong classroom management abilities to maintain an organized, safe, and engaging environment Knowledge of first aid procedures to respond promptly to minor injuries or emergencies Experience working with children of diverse backgrounds, including those with special education needs or in childcare settings Background in camp activities such as sports coaching, babysitting, theater arts, or early childhood education is highly valued Ability to implement behavior management techniques that promote positive social interactions This paid summer camp position is perfect for energetic individuals passionate about working with children. Pay:
