Responsibilities Supervise and engage children in a variety of camp activities, ensuring safety and enjoyment at all times Manage group behavior through effective behavior management techniques and positive reinforcement Provide first aid when necessary and respond promptly to any medical or safety concerns Foster a welcoming environment rooted in respect, kindness. Collaborate with fellow counselors on daily schedules, set up activities, and maintain a positive camp atmosphere Experience Prior experience working with children in settings such as daycare, babysitting, tutoring, or summer camps is highly desirable Knowledge of classroom management techniques and childhood development principles Background in teaching, special education, or early childhood education is a plus Demonstrated ability to manage behavior effectively in group settings and handle challenging situations with patience and professionalism Experience in sports coaching, theater arts, or childcare enhances your ability to lead diverse activities with confidence Passion for working with children and fostering their growth through engaging educational and recreational experiences

Pay:
