Recreational- Activities - Assisted Living Facility Grand Villa of Palm Coast Assisted Living Facility is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Activities Assistant to join our team. Key Responsibilities:

Assist in Developing, planning, and implementing recreational activities tailored to the interests and abilities of our residents Foster a positive and inclusive environment that encourages socialization, physical activity, and mental stimulation Assess residents' needs and preferences to create personalized activity plans Collaborate with staff and family members to ensure activities support residents' overall well-being Monitor and document residents' participation and progress in activities Maintain a safe and clean activity space, ensuring all activities comply with safety standards

Skills and Qualifications:

Prior experience in recreational therapy, activity coordination, or a related field, preferably with seniors Strong interpersonal and communication skills Creativity and enthusiasm for engaging seniors in meaningful activities Ability to work flexible hours, including afternoons, nights, and weekends Compassionate, patient, and energetic demeanor Knowledge of safety protocols and ability to adapt activities for various physical and cognitive abilities At Grand Villa of Palm Coast, we pride ourselves on fostering a warm, welcoming community where staff are valued and residents thrive.
