Overview:
Provides patient supervision, care, and activities services in accordance with professional staff direction and unit procedures. Assists patients in activities of daily living, assists in implementing treatment plans and provides supportive contact with patients.
ESSENTIAL/CORE JOB-SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
By the first of each month, provides the Scheduling Coordinator with availability for the following month. Works, or is available to work, a minimum of three (3) shifts or one (1) weekend per week and at least one holiday per year. Willingly and cooperatively works on units assigned. Demonstrates a positive, supportive, respectful attitude while working. Supervises residents during program activities, meals, fresh-air breaks/recreation and all unscheduled times. Supervises residents on special observation/precautionary status levels as assigned by supervisor.
Education/Experience:
A high school diploma or its equivalent. Minimum of one (1) year of related work experience in a patient care setting preferred.
Licensure or Certification:
Must obtain and maintain current CPR, First Aid, and CPI certifications. Must possess current, valid driver's license and maintain Apalachee Designated Auto Driver status
