This is more than just "watching kids"! We are looking for people who can help create a safe, structured, FUN, and engaging summer experience filled with activities, field trips, themed learning, devotion, games, and memories our children will never forget. Our summer camp team members help lead daily activities, participate in water days and messy games, supervise field trips, keep children engaged, and create a positive environment where children can learn, explore, and have fun. This is a seasonal position for now, however there is strong potential for continued employment during future camps (Spring Break, Winter Break, school holidays, etc.) and possible long-term opportunities within the center. Requirements:

Must be 21 years old or older Must have a clean driving record and be comfortable driving for field trips and camp activities CPR & First Aid Certification preferred, but must be willing to obtain immediately if hired Must be comfortable participating in outdoor activities, messy games, pools/water activities, and field trips Must genuinely love working with children Must be comfortable leading devotion and maintaining a positive Christian environment Must be able to follow lesson plans and weekly camp themes while also bringing creative activity ideas of your own Must be dependable, energetic, patient, and able to keep children engaged throughout the day Must complete DCF School Readiness Pre-Service Training before starting if not already completed Must complete required 40-hour DCF training within 90 days if not already certified Hours will vary based on camp enrollment and scheduling needs, but candidates should be available for approximately 25-40 hours per week. At Wee Care, we are continuing to build a team of individuals who care deeply about children, work well together, and are willing to jump in wherever needed. We are looking for people who bring positive energy, professionalism, creativity, and leadership to the classroom and beyond.

Pay:

$14.50 - $16.00 per hour
