Wellness Center Intramural Sports Supervisor

Intramural sports are casual, friendly competitions for all skill levels. This position is responsible for supervising and officiating intramural events. Supervisors create a fun, safe, and competitive environment for all participants. They ensure the rules of play are followed to maintain fairness, safety, and proper control during the events. Demonstrates IWCC's core mission, vision and values Officiate and supervise intramural events. Assist with pre- and post-game logistics and administrative functions. Prepare and inspect game equipment and site. Understand emergency/evacuation procedures. Attend staff trainings. Other duties asassigned Must be a currently enrolled student. Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time, use hands to operate a computer keyboard, telephone and other basic office equipment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear, use a phone. Occasional lifting of 10 lbs., reading, writing, calculating, social interaction skills, reasoning/analysis, and ability to work with minimal supervision, and a high degree of problem solving and high level of inter-personal skills is preferred.
