Resident Aide - Activities, Iowa Veterans Home (Temp)

This is a non-merit temporary position with the Iowa Veterans Home. The hourly wage will be $12.76. The Iowa Veterans Home is looking for a temporary Resident Aide to work in the Activity Centers.

Duties include:

• Escort residents to and from activity classes, pushing occupied adult sized wheelchairs.
• Assist in classrooms with projection preparation when not escorting.
• Assist Recreation staff with special events as needed and escort residents to and from events. Hours are 8:45 a.m
• 2:45 p.m. Monday, Wednesday and Thursday.
• All applicants are subject to a criminal background and dependent adult abuse check.
