at Camp Bow Wow® Boise & Meridian! Camp Bow Wow® provides a fun, safe, and upscale environment for dogs to play, romp, and receive lots of love and attention! Camp Bow Wow is a premier doggy day care and overnight boarding facility. We are looking to hire fun, energetic, hardworking people who LOVE dogs! Job Duties & Responsibilities Supervise groups of dogs of all sizes in open play yards Ensure dog safety by following all Camp Bow Wow policies and procedures Observe canine body language and behavior Perform health and happiness checks throughout the day Feed dogs as directed Bathe dogs and perform basic grooming (nail trims, etc.) Clean and sanitize play yards, cabins, and common areas Greet and assist customers in a friendly, professional manner Provide excellent customer service to pet parents Maintain a clean, safe, and positive environment Qualifications Love for dogs and passion for animal care Comfortable working with dogs of all sizes and temperaments Ability to stand/walk for an entire shift and lift up to 50 lbs Reliable transportation and strong attendance Availability to work weekends and some holidays ( required ) Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment Animal handling: 1 year (preferred) Customer service: 1 year
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent
License:
Valid driver's license preferred
Certification:
Pet First Aid & CPR (company-provided)
