Job Description

As an Activities Aide, you will be responsible for assisting in the planning, organizing, and implementation of recreational activities and programs for residents/patients within our facility. You will work closely with the Activities Director and other staff members to ensure a stimulating and engaging environment for our residents/patients.
Responsibilities:
Assist in planning and implementing a variety of recreational activities, such as arts and crafts, games, music, exercise programs, and outings. Engage residents/patients in activities and encourage participation while respecting their individual needs and capabilities. Set up and clean up activity areas and ensure that all equipment and supplies are ready and available for use. Maintain accurate records of resident/patient participation and progress in activities. Assist in transporting residents/patients to and from activities as needed. Collaborate with other staff members to integrate activities into the overall care plan for residents/patients. Observe residents/patients for changes in behavior or health and report concerns to appropriate staff members. Maintain a safe and supportive environment for residents/patients during activities.
