This candidate will provide 30 hours of weekly support to all fitness departments (aquatics, fitness, personal training, group exercise, mind/body, racquet sports, golf) with a goal of supporting daily administrative and technical duties as well as driving the member experience. Additionally, provides coverage for managers on holiday/time off requests. Fitness Coordinators also assist in emailing new and reinstated members daily, assisting with any promotional outreach and giving input on innovative new fitness socials along with all other job duties listed below. Additional duties may be given as needed.

Essential Functions:
Assist all 8 fitness departments as needed per that manager (Personal Training, Nutrition, Mind/Body, Fitness, Aquatics, Golf, Racquet Sports, Group Exercise) Be a managerial presence to members and staff by providing department information and following up on requests Proficient knowledge of FITVUE administrative functions Reservations for all fitness departments Personal training and mind body cancellations & refunds Knowledge of personal trainers to assist matching members when needed Ability to perform fitness tests (Inbody, Bodpod, RMR, VO2) Check fitness & group exercise programs emails and voicemails and respond in a timely manner Assist with checking aquatics, mind/body, racquet sports and golf as needed Support Fitness Attendant essential functions and cover shifts when necessary Knowledge of all fitness departments to assist in booking, offer suggestions on new things to try, etc. Personal training, stretching, boxing, fitness testing, mind/body, aquatics, golf, racquet sports, group exercise and nutrition Promote fitness services to new and existing clients Attend quarterly department meetings, management meetings, and all other mandatory trainings. Handle any member or employee incidents that happen during shift; enter Fitvue case in in a timely manner and follow up on any items needed Enforce all policies and procedures Fitness manager on duty for mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays as needed Provide appropriate hand off of any duties between morning and evening fitness coordinators Address any staff concerns or issues related to member service Readily available to meet with a new or existing member to discuss the best path forward in their personal fitness journey Innovation of new fitness social/class ideas that collaborate with other departments Monitor equipment organization and inventory needs across all fitness departments Includes but is not limited to: Cleanliness & organization Report missing and broken equipment
Other Job Functions:
Attendance at all mandatory club and department meetings All other duties as assigned by management
Requirements Qualifications/Standards:
Must be authorized to work in the USA Current CPR/AED certification Experience working in a fitness club, hospitality, or customer service environment Ability to prioritize multiple projects and work effectively in a fast-paced environment Sales and member engagement skills with the ability to identify opportunities to increase participation in club programs and services Ability to prioritize multiple projects and work effectively in a fast-paced environment Strong communication and ability to work well with others Ability to manage and respond to member feedback Strong administrative, time management, follow up and organizational skills Must be able to think independently and capable of effectively managing confrontation Proficient knowledge of computer operations (Office, Excel, Word and Outlook) Benefits Time Off & Retirement Paid Time Off 401(k) with company match up to 3% Value Sharing (Profit sharing)
