Job Description

IMPORTANT
Must be available for all shifts during the entire timeframe.

July 14th through August 7th
Shifts:
Tuesday through Friday from 8:30am till 3pm
Job Overview:
We are seeking enthusiastic Camp Counselors to join our team for an exciting summer camp experience. As a Camp Counselor, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, engaging, and memorable environment for campers. Campers are 1st grade through 5th grade. Activities include golf, tennis and swimming.
Duties:
  • Supervise and engage campers in various activities and games
  • Implement planned programs and activities to promote camper participation
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all campers at all times
  • Provide guidance and support to campers in their personal growth and development
  • Assist in organizing and leading group activities, including sports, arts and crafts, and nature exploration
  • Communicate effectively with campers, parents, and fellow staff members
Experience:
  • Previous experience in childhood development or related fields preferred
  • Knowledge of sports coaching or working with students is a plus
  • Experience in classroom management or daycare settings beneficial
  • First aid certification is desirable
  • Ability to manage behavior effectively and create a positive camp environment
  • Background in childcare, special education, tutoring, or related areas is advantageous Joining our team as a Camp Counselor offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of children while gaining valuable experience in a fun and dynamic setting.
This position is for the day shift Tuesday through Friday . The position runs from July 14th through August 7th.
