""Its 30-35 hours/week"" Job Summary We are seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate Activity Coordinator to join our team at a 38-bed assisted living facility. This role is responsible for planning, organizing, and leading engaging recreational and wellness activities that enhance residents' quality of life. The Activity Coordinator will create a positive, stimulating environment that promotes residents' physical, emotional, social, and cognitive well-being through meaningful programs and events. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement a monthly activity calendar with a variety of engaging programs Plan and facilitate both group and one-on-one activities for residents Assess residents' interests, abilities, and needs to design personalized and meaningful activities Encourage and support resident participation in activity programs Coordinate special events, holiday celebrations, and community involvement opportunities Maintain activity supplies, equipment, and stay within budget guidelines Foster a warm, inclusive, and positive environment for residents and staff Collaborate with other departments to support resident engagement and well-being Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Strong written and verbal communication skills Current CPR certification required Excellent organizational and time management skills Ability to engage and motivate seniors with varying abilities Previous experience in senior living, recreation, or healthcare preferred Work Environment Active and social environment within a residential care setting Requires standing, walking, and leading activities throughout the day Why Join Us?
