Little Scouts Day Care Job description: Looking for a fun, active summer job? Little Scouts Preschool is hiring Summer Camp Counselors to join our team! This is a great opportunity for high school and college students—especially those interested in education—or anyone who wants a summer filled with laughter, bubble parties, water play, and lots of little kid fun.
Position Overview:
Summer Teacher Assistants support our teaching team in creating a safe, engaging, and joyful summer program for young children. This role is hands-on, fast-paced, and perfect for someone who enjoys being active and working as part of a team.
Schedule:
Summer session (June-August) We offer flexibility in daily hours, but are looking for team members who can consistently commit to Monday-Friday attendance.
Responsibilities:
Assist teachers with daily activities and routines Help supervise children during indoor play, outdoor play, and water activities Support transitions, snack/lunch times, and classroom organization Engage with children through play, games, and summer-themed activities Help maintain a safe, clean, and positive environment Step in where needed to support the team
What We're Looking For:
Positive, upbeat, and energetic personality Enjoys working with young children Reliable and able to work as part of a team Willing to be active, outdoors, and engaged throughout the day A good sense of humor and a willingness to have fun
Qualifications:
Must be at least 16 years old High school or college students encouraged to apply-This is great experience for anyone wanting to work in a career with children! Experience with children is a plus, but not required
Physical Requirements:
This is an active role that includes standing, walking, playing outdoors, and engaging with children throughout the day. We are looking for individuals who will be engaged, present, and ready to jump into the day with our children.
