Preschool Camp Counselor (High School & College Students)

Looking for a fun, active summer job? Little Scouts Preschool is hiring Summer Teacher Assistants to join our team! This is a great opportunity for high school and college students—especially those interested in education—or anyone who wants a summer filled with laughter, bubble parties, water play, and lots of little kid fun.

Position Overview:

Summer Teacher Assistants support our teaching team in creating a safe, engaging, and joyful summer program for young children. This role is hands-on, fast-paced, and perfect for someone who enjoys being active and working as part of a team.

Schedule:

Summer session (June-August) We offer flexibility in daily hours , but are looking for team members who can consistently commit to Monday-Friday attendance .

Responsibilities:

Assist teachers with daily activities and routines Help supervise children during indoor play, outdoor play, and water activities Support transitions, snack/lunch times, and classroom organization Engage with children through play, games, and summer-themed activities Help maintain a safe, clean, and positive environment Step in where needed to support the team

Positive, upbeat, and energetic personality Enjoys working with young children Reliable and able to work as part of a team Willing to be active, outdoors, and engaged throughout the day A good sense of humor and a willingness to have fun

Qualifications:

Must be at least 16 years old High school or college students encouraged to apply-This is great experience for anyone wanting to work in a career with children! Experience with children is a plus, but not required

Physical Requirements:

This is an active role that includes standing, walking, playing outdoors, and engaging with children throughout the day.

Pay:

$15.50 per hour We are looking for individuals who will be engaged, present, and ready to jump into the day with our children.
