Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and dedicated individual to join our team as an Up. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for creating a safe, engaging, and positive environment for participants of all ages. Your enthusiasm and leadership will inspire others to develop their skills, build confidence, and enjoy physical activity. Whether leading sports activities, supervising swimming sessions, or managing group behavior, your proactive approach will ensure a fun and secure experience for everyone involved. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact while fostering a love of movement and teamwork. Responsibilities Lead and supervise various physical activities such as swimming, martial arts, basketball, cheerleading, climbing, and other sports programs Ensure the safety of all participants by adhering to proper behavior management and emergency protocols Provide instruction and coaching in disciplines like karate, judo, gymnastics, or other fitness activities tailored to different age groups Assist with childcare duties during activities, maintaining a nurturing and inclusive environment Monitor group dynamics and address behavioral issues promptly to promote respectful participation Prepare activity plans that promote skill development, teamwork, and fun-filled engagement Maintain cleanliness and organization of activity areas and equipment before and after sessions Skills Prior experience as a lifeguard or in sports coaching is highly desirable Strong background in teaching physical education or working with children in recreational settings Proficiency in martial arts such as karate or judo, with the ability to teach or demonstrate techniques Knowledge of swimming techniques and safety protocols for aquatic activities Experience in behavior management strategies to foster positive group interactions Ability to lead diverse activities including cheerleading, climbing, basketball, or gymnastics with enthusiasm Excellent communication skills to motivate participants and collaborate with team members Join us to inspire active lifestyles through engaging programs that prioritize safety, skill-building, and fun!
