Activities Assistant -
Full-time Location:
Cloverleaf Health Care Center - Knightsville, IN Cloverleaf Health Care Center is seeking a compassionate and energetic Activities Assistant to join our skilled nursing facility. This role works under the direction of the Director of Activities to support and enhance the quality of life for our residents. Key Responsibilities Ensure residents' emotional, recreational, and social needs are met on an individual basis Assist residents with normal activities of daily living such as writing letters, making phone calls, and registering to vote Maintain accurate records of resident participation and activity attendance Assist with mail delivery, escorting residents to activity programs, plant and flower care, pet and fish care, preparation of the monthly newsletter, fundraising efforts, and morning announcements over the P.A. system Implement activity programs that provide entertainment, communication, exercise, relaxation, and opportunities for creative expression as planned by the Activities Director Provide craft supplies, materials, and equipment and supervise residents during activities Encourage residents to explore their interests and creative potential through crafts, painting, and other recreational programs Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred Must be at least 18 years of age Previous long-term care experience or experience working with elderly or disabled individuals preferred Benefits We strive to provide our employees with a comprehensive and affordable benefits package, including:
