Job Description

Native Thunder Outfitters is expanding our team for the 2026-2027 seasons, and we're looking for skilled, reliable, client‑focused Hunting Guides to lead deer, fall turkey, duck, and goose hunts in the Great Bend, Kansas region. If you know the land, understand wildlife behavior, and thrive in the field, this is the place to put your experience to work. What You'll Do Guide clients on safe, successful hunts for deer, turkey, ducks, and geese Scout fields, roosts, feeding areas, and migration patterns Set and brush blinds, run decoy spreads, and manage calling Assist clients with gear, safety, shooting positions, and field techniques Track, recover, and field‑dress game Maintain equipment, vehicles, blinds, and decoys Provide a professional, positive experience from arrival to departure Communicate clearly with clients and the outfitter team Help with camp duties, meals, and lodging support when needed What We're Looking For Strong hunting background in waterfowl and/or big game Experience guiding is preferred, but not required for the right person Confident with calling, decoy spreads, blind setups, and reading birds Knowledge of deer behavior, stand placement, and tracking Ability to work long days in all weather conditions Clean and professional communication with clients Valid driver's license Must be able to lift 50+ lbs and handle physical work Must be dependable, punctual, and safety‑minded Kansas guide license (or ability to obtain one) What We Offer Competitive pay (daily rate + tips) Housing during hunts Meals during the season Access to high‑quality land and equipment A professional, team‑oriented environment Opportunities for long‑term seasonal work Season Dates Positions available for: Deer 2026-2027 Fall Turkey 2026-2027 Ducks & Geese 2026-2027 (Exact dates provided during interview.)
