Duties Provide engaging scheduled activities that cater to residents' interests, abilities, and health conditions, including dementia and Alzheimer's care. Follow activities that promote socialization and cognitive engagement. Foster a positive environment by encouraging participation in group activities. Manage activity schedules efficiently to ensure timely execution of planned events while maintaining flexibility for spontaneous opportunities. Maintain accurate records of participation, resident preferences, and activity feedback. Experience Previous experience in assisted living facilities or personal care homes is highly preferred but not required. Familiarity with Alzheimer's disease, dementia care, memory care programs, and aging issues. Strong communication skills to effectively engage residents of diverse backgrounds and abilities.
