REPORTS TO
Head Coach/ Athletic Director
BASIC FUNCTION
Support athletic/ club activities and programs across the district in collaboration with community partners. The coordinator manages access to campus facilities, recruits, trains, and retains volunteers, and ensures programs meet District and partner expectations.
REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES
  • Coordinate access to school facilities for program use.
  • Assist with program and activity scheduling and supervision.
  • Recruit, train, and retain program volunteers.
  • Maintain effective communication with program partners.
  • Follow school policies, program plans, and applicable local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Ensure compliance with Board of Education goals, objectives, and directives.
  • Work under the supervision of Head Coaches, Principal/Administrative Team, and District Leadership, in collaboration with program partners.
  • Document data and monitor progress toward program goals.
  • Perform related duties as assigned.
ABILITY TO
  • Communicate effectively, orally and in writing, with staff and community partners.
  • Coordinate and support school and community partner efforts.
  • Compile information, maintain records, verify data, and prepare reports.
  • Organize, plan, schedule, and supervise work activities.
  • Maintain current knowledge of program rules, regulations, and requirements.
  • Stay current with relevant technology.
  • Analyze situations and take effective action.
  • Meet schedules and timelines.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Any combination equivalent to a high school diploma and a minimum of 64 college semester hours from an accredited college or university preferred.
  • Experience working with K-12 students, preferably in a school setting.
  • Experience with program planning and implementation.
  • Clerical and record-keeping skills preferred.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
  • Work performed while standing, sitting, and/or walking.
  • Ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing.
  • Use of hands for grasping and fine manipulation.
  • Requires bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, and reaching.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull light weights. Reasonable accommodations may be provided.
  • Work schedule may include hours outside normal school hours.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
Employment will be seasonal. Multiple positions might be available based on the season and the club activities.
