Position Summary:
The Co-Curricular Front Desk Attendant oversees the front desk area for Co-Curricular programs.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Welcome and interact professionally with parents, students, faculty, and visitors. Oversee sign in/out process. Ensure accuracy of sign in/out records. Ensure that scholars are released only to authorized individuals. Sign scholars into the program upon school dismissal. Sign scholars in/out as they transition to/from clubs. Model and instill Great Hearts 9 Core Virtues (responsibility, perseverance, integrity, honesty, courage, citizenship, humility, friendship, wisdom). Escalate incident reports and significant events to supervisor. Follow standard operating procedures to ensure high quality programs. Follow all licensing rules and regulations per AZDHS. Other duties as assigned.
Required/Preferred Education:
Must be at least 17 years of age and have a high school diploma/equivalent or currently enrolled in high school/equivalent. First aid/CPR certification preferred but not required.
Required/Preferred Skills:
Some experience or college preferred but not required. The successful candidate will be a principled, professional leader with an independent work ethic and a heart of service to others. They must demonstrate sound business judgment and wisdom in dealing with people. Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Physical Functions:
Requires but is not limited to standing, sitting, repetitious hand and body movements, bending, squatting, and reaching. Running, jumping and other rapid movements may also be required. May be required to move or position equipment up to 15 pounds approximately. Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a criminal history background check and fingerprint clearance in accordance with state requirements.
Travel required:
