Full-Time Join the NSC Marine Team NSC Staffing is hiring an experienced Senior Outfitter for a manufacturing and marine production facility in Slidell, Louisiana . This position supports installation, assembly, and integration of mechanical and structural components on advanced marine and industrial equipment. We are looking for skilled trades professionals with strong outfitting, mechanical assembly, and shipyard experience who can work in a fast-paced production environment. Key Responsibilities Install and assemble mechanical, structural, and outfitting components according to blueprints and engineering drawings Perform layout, fitting, and installation of brackets, piping supports, equipment foundations, and related hardware Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments to complete installations Ensure all work meets quality standards and production schedules Assist with alignment, installation, and integration of equipment and systems Maintain a safe work environment and follow all safety procedures Qualifications Must have at least 5 years of experience as a Marine Outfitter, Mechanical Assembler, or Shipyard Outfitter Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Experience installing mechanical systems, structural components, or marine equipment Comfortable using hand and power tools in an industrial environment Ability to work in a team environment and meet production deadlines Why Work With NSC Staffing Competitive pay Opportunities with leading marine and industrial employers Long-term career opportunities in the skilled trades Work Environment Work is performed in active shipyards, aboard vessels, and in industrial settings.
